My Volume Magazine project, created in my Typography class, centered on Taylor Swift and explored eight songs rich in literary themes and symbolism. I designed the masthead, cover, and three spreads with a moody, literature-inspired aesthetic, featuring vintage bookshelves with embossed song titles to visually connect the music to its storytelling roots. Rough paper textures, uneven edges, and polaroid-style imagery added warmth and nostalgia while reinforcing the thoughtful tone of the magazine.
