For my Production for Print and Digital course, I designed a conceptual CD package for “Space Cowboy” by Kacey Musgraves. The design centers on a shifting narrative perspective, with the front showing a man driving toward a surreal cosmic landscape while the woman appears in the rearview mirror, and the back revealing her perspective where the destination is less exciting than it appears. I carried this concept throughout the package using western-inspired typography, a continuous road across the interior spread, a planet graphic on the CD, and liner notes where lyrics orbit illustrated planets.
